Sisters take time to understand one another but once they do, they are inseparable. Just like Aloysia who thought that she might never be able to connect with her sister, Anastasia, who has Down Syndrome.  To her surprise, Anastasia proved her wrong and they are now best friends. 

Anastasia looks up to Aloysia a lot and copies her in whatever she does. They are both constantly learning from one another and enjoy each other’s company. 

They spend time watching movies, painting nails, travelling and much more. She says that Anastasia knows all her friends and so does she. There are no secrets between them, and they share everything with each other including conversations from work and their personal lives.

Rishabh was 3 when he finally called Shruti didi (elder sister in Hindi).

At an early age, the Jain family knew that Rishabh would have trouble learning due to a birth defect called microcephaly which meant that his brain was not fully developed, but they never gave up on him. Shruti used to spend 5 hours every day teaching him the alphabet and how to count.

All the struggles paid off when one day, Shruti’s mother called her at work to tell her that Rishabh had been selected to represent India in skating at the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi. They have never looked back since.
