From Karachi, Pakistan, Jasmine Sharif is excited to represent the Asia Pacific region and promises to do her best in making a difference in the lives of her fellow athletes. In addition to her work with the Athlete Input Council, Jasmine serves as a Board Member of Special Olympics Pakistan and works at the head office.

Her journey with Special Olympics began as a swimmer. Jasmine competed at the World Games held in China and at the Regional Asia Pacific Games in Australia. Most recently, she competed in swimming at the 2019 World Games held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where she won a bronze medal.

In her many roles as an athlete and leader, she has trained her fellow athletes to help develop their leadership skills. She also volunteers at Young Athletes and Healthy Athletes activities. Jasmine loves to listen to music, surf the internet, and listen to motivational speeches on YouTube. She is also a talented artist and graphic designer, who uses her skills to advocate for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities.
